Arts4All Video – Luther Elementary
The Young Auditorium-Horizons Arts4All Program provides students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds with the opportunity to attend performing arts events at a reduced price as part of their educational experience. Studies show that when students participate in the arts, they benefit both academically, socially, and their overall well-being is enhanced.
Each year, Arts4All hosts a Zumbathon® fundraising wellness event, led by Certified Zumba® instructors, to raise money for the program. All proceeds directly support Horizons Arts4All. Zumba® is a Latin-inspired dance fitness program that combines aerobics and dance. It features salsa, hip-hop, samba, and merengue, among other genres. All genders, races, ability levels and ages are welcome to participate. No experience is necessary.
Our Goal for 2014: Raise $1,300 to send 200 children to performing arts events at Young Auditorium!
